Off-Grid
Cabin

Sweden
2023
This cabin is conceived as a retreat that allows people to disconnect from daily life while remaining conveniently close to a larger town. Located in the forested landscapes of Sweden, it is fully immersed in nature yet still accessible, combining seclusion with proximity. The design prioritizes calmness, privacy, and deep environmental integration, while ensuring a high level of comfort and luxury. The strategy is minimally invasive, preserving the existing terrain and allowing the forest to remain largely undisturbed. At the same time, the project operates as an off-grid system, ensuring self-sufficiency through integrated solar power and efficient energy storage. Water is collected, retained, and filtered on site, supporting sustainable use without relying on external infrastructure. The architecture offers a refined living experience where natural immersion and modern comfort coexist, with generous spatial quality, framed views, and carefully controlled light. It supports slow living without compromising convenience, performance, or luxury standards.
