VDC Office

This office renovation project focuses on maximising natural daylight penetration throughout the workspace. This objective is achieved by fully glazing the street-facing façade, allowing sunlight to travel deep into the interior and reducing reliance on artificial lighting during the day. Light-coloured finishes, including walls, ceilings, and selected furnishings, further enhance reflectivity and contribute to a brighter, more welcoming environment. Additional daylight is introduced from the rear of the building through a courtyard-facing window, improving illumination in areas located farther from the primary façade. The spatial arrangement is organised around an open-plan team office that serves as the main working zone, encouraging collaboration and flexibility. Two enclosed meeting offices provide privacy for discussions and concentrated tasks, while an integrated kitchen acts as a social hub and spatial anchor, supporting interaction, comfort, and daily workplace functionality, efficiency, wellbeing, and long-term user satisfaction.
